Retired

Churchgate Blue Mirage for Ormesguarde. We call her BABY. She has been a loyal friend an entertaining joyful companion. She has produced five litters, 32 wonderful puppies. I keep in touch with all owners. Only three ever changed homes and I re-homed them and they were fine. All are alive and well. She produces pups like shelling peas, ten in three hours.

She will always remain with me living in my home ruling the roost

Owning my heart she is eleven but still acts like a two year old but although extremely deaf still able to hear when new owners arrive. Shows off until we let her in and she bounces on their children pushes them off couch. The worst behaved dog in house.

Ormesguarde Estelle Girl was Blue Mirages lst daughter We called her Brussel Sprout, who knows why. She is the sweetest dog, never needed telling off she gazes at me like bambi, a good mother would not let the puppies stop feeding.

We have re-homed sprout with Mary and Bill who have given her the lovely life she deserves.

Ormesguarde Johanna.

Joe to us.

Colour Dark Blue/Roan.

The sweetest nature you could ever wish for. Joe is a daughter of Ormesguarde ESTELLE GIRL.

This is the only bitch I have breed which failed to reproduce so far.

We have decided to re-home Joe with our good friend Jenny. She has gone to live in Brentwood with 11 cats.

Ormesguarde Gamilla, Blue Mirages 2nd daughter

Milly was born a free spirit, no time for cuddles she had places to go things to see very even natured she had 4 litters very laid back mum. Brussel who always had puppies at the same time would go in and feed milly's babies whilst milly was resting, she never minded. She loved everyone and got to like cuddles in later life I'm afraid we are so busy caring for our brood that cuddles are fleeting. We have a daughter of millys called Ormesguarde Sophia who has her mums independence. Milly now lives close with Ernie and Pat we see her regularly. We couldn't ask for nicer or better people for her to live with.

Krissmor Ballydoyle (Doyle)

Doyle was found for us by our good friends John & Fonia Mace when we were looking for new blood lines. She has been a wonderful good tempered girl and we kept two lovely pups, Tally & Grace, from her first litter. Sadly she had to have a c section for her last litter and we have decided to retire her. She has gone to a lovely family who had a pup from us a little while ago and has settled in to a well deserved life of luxury.

Grovern ecstasy at Ormesguarde called Cymba she is a Full time lover, sits on my shoes when I am grooming or Clipping is wagging her bum all day.

Had trouble with her first litter so we will not breed from her again. She went with the parents of a nice couple who brought a puppy They have gained their good citizen award and keep both dog in wonderful condition.

Ormesguarde Katrina.

We call her Kate. Colour Orange Roan.

Youngest daughter of Blue Mirage. She is the alpha female. Bosses everyone about, tells off visitors, would die protecting us from harm but cannot resist for long being standoffish. She loves me, her mum, above all else in life, unlike most of my girls who are daddy's girls. The third generation is Kate's daughter Ormesguarde Rhythm & Blues. We call her blue. Kate was a strict devoted mother. Producing Blue, Blue & Tan and Orange roans.

We had much heart searching about re-homing Kate and then along came the wonderful Bailey family who have given Kate the home she deserves

Ormesguarde Oprah. Pet name BODIE

Colour Black/White ticked. Loves the babies so she has proved to be a good mother like her mother & Grandmother. She is a guard, she will bark at new visitors but if I pick her up and place her in a visitor arms sits there all day. She is the last daughter of Estelle Girl.

We have retired our Bodie this year. The delivery of her babies was not so straight forward as usual, they were very big and two died during the delivery she has not lost a pup before, we shall take the vets advice.

Ormesguarde Rhythm N Blues. Pet Name Blue

Daughter of Kate and Austin.

Colour Medium/Light Blue/ Roan

Our latest generation, good coat, extravagant mover very strong behind.

She is a super bitch and this is her in her new retirement home with Daphne & Tony Goodey in Southend. They are delighted after 10 days with her and the way she has settled right in. Thank god for the lovely folk who offer my beloved bitches a super understanding retirement home.

MRS POPPLE BLUEBELL AT ORMESGUARDE

We call her Bell. Bell was not bred by us she was from a bitch we bred, mated to our Austin. Sadly the family who bought bell had problems and the lady was left to raise 5 young children and a boisterous untrained puppy, a fatal combination.

We were asked to help so we purchase back the 6 month old girl who had hardly been combed, it was a struggle, however she had a good temperament and she became very loving and willing to please.

Jenny and Pat O'Sullivan A really nice family living in Upminster have taken our Bell to live with them and their old King Charles Spaniel. They report all is well.

Traced Lace a Lovely girl who made her mind up motherhood was not her bag and did not want to be mated. We had some friends Pam & Barry who had homed our lst rehomie. She was a little gold girl well bred but to the wrong Breeder and we rescued her at 1 yearold very frightened of people and just about every thing. We had bred one litter to a first class do she produced 3 puppies with the most awful screaming one she held onto till it died 2 oranges lived one was partially sighted the other displayed some symptoms of rage syndrome. Making a discussion to bred only party colours

We decided we had choosen a well bred girl eye tested her and mated to a nice boy also excellent breeding with disastrous results. DONNA (below) grew confident and happy with Pam & Barry but sadly suffered lots of little health problems for most of her life She lost her battle aged 10 early 2009. Pam & Barry very lonely. Her daughter with eye problems sadly also died this year

Leaving a space for Lace to look after them and heal the hurt

Breeze has grown into the most beautiful dog. Her mother is bodie and her father Austin we shall mate her to wez this time and she will be in season in the next two months. She will hopefully produce the 5th generation of Ormesguarde babies. She is a brilliant retriever and loves to bring back her toys she is a lovely size full of promise and god willing she will be with us for a long time to come, helping to heal the hurt of losing her mother to the call of a new home and fireside position.

Well it was not to be Breeze had big problems passing babies I like girls to have lst litter 15 months delivery is easier she missed lst time mated and babies were big she was normal so painful. We have found her a new home in Kent with Jack the Labrador a new Mum & Dad she is being spayed next week. I will update you when she is in new home.

Breeze in her new home with her new best friend.

PURDYSPRIDE HAUNTED MELODY among ORMESGUARDE

Melody came from a lovely young couple who brought one of Millies puppies who is now 6. Mel and mark Madle, they are now not so young and have 3 girls from our breeding and they continue the accredited breeding practice. Yodi is Melody's sire and we are very pleased with this little girl she has been mated to Wez Babies due 24th July.

Mel sadly also had problem babies were trying to be born with legs back at shoulder. They should be out front like diver she needed a C section so we shall not try again. Luckily new owners of her son Alan & Julie Jardine wanted Mum to. They are going to Guernsey to live and although Baby Mac will never see us or his extended family again Dad Granddad etc living here with us. Its a comfort that Mum is by his side. She to is going for surgery with her old friend breeze who brought her up.

They will recover here then be off to new adventures

Mel with her boy Mack.

ORMESGUARDE KIMBERLEY

We call her Kimberley why I do not know its a mouthful. She is the last daughter of Kate/Austin full sister to Blue and they look alike but a bit deferent in temp. I love Wez and Blues pups and she lost her 4th litter and was retired this year you can see her under retired dogs.

So hopefully Kimberley will carry on the line replacing her sister, please god in 2009, he has the final say on all our plans of course

Sadley Kimberley failed to produce puppies so we shall consider re-homing her if the right home comes up.

Kimberley has found a lovely home with Audrey Crozier in Needham Market who has been patient whilst she became accustomed to being an only girl. Audrey said she snuggles in her bed at night but every morning she wakes up with her in bed by her side.

ORMESGUARDE SADIE

Sadie, Sugar and spices daughter from wez. She has her mother's quiet way and wez's cheeky traits. She is very beautiful, lovely tail carriage and I did not think I would ever say that. Also some of her Gran Sophia in her independence to be alone away from the pack. She is quite happy to be indoors. Outside she could run for England she circles at full speed just for the fun of being alive, very active and would be good at obedience and agility.

Her first litter to Austin, her great grandfather produced stunning puppies. Unfortunately she needed surgery as two puppies were stuck, she had 7 but the two big boys died but she raised 5 lovely babies of which we kept one who we named Kiss, shown below.

We are pleased to announce Sadie has been successfully mated to Jango and we look forward to the safe arrival of some puppiesd on the 19th of December. Produced 5 Babies all perfect.

Sadie has gone with a little daughter to live with friends Elizabeth and David Hounsome they are going to show Ormesguarde Winter Shadow who will grow up with mum and produce babies to carry on the line
